Wedding

So busy with the wedding and all the stress of JD not being called for any fires has made me slack off on the blog. I have tons of pics I will upload tomorrow of decorations for the wedding.
Oh yes and we have been half way potty training Brez too. We bought her a Elmo potty at Walmart and the Elmo potty time video. Brezlins big thing now is Sesame Street, which I love. I couldnt be more happy with her tast in T.V, Sesame Street is a wounderful show full of learning and very wholesome as well. Wedding is in a week dang!!!

New garden

So today and last night we worked in what back yard we have. We planted some berrys and veggies.:-) We also tried to docter up our sad grass.

This pretty much says it all right? We went to look at some wedding halls and this is Brez after about an hour in the car. She was actually happy for most of the trip. This pic was right after we realized she took her pig tails out. Lovely! I love her quirky humor.!

So I have cleaned the house inside and out! It is now more clean than ever before. I am very happy about this too. I feel more comfortable being home now.
Of course I still have to paint, hopefully soon. My landlady has offered to let me pick out some color samples for the rooms. I'm thinking yellow for the living room and tan for the kitchen and bath? I really want to keep it neutral cause my taste change so often. I change my mind almost every week on what I like and don't like.

As for Brezlins room I like the pale green color. I have started looking on Etsy for crafty ideas. So far what I have planned for her room are new window treatments and a pink, brown, and green rug. I also might get a wall decal for her room too. Nothing too fancy just an ABC'c or somthing to spiff it up other than painting.

I want to plant some flowers and other stuff in the back yard too. We saw a very coolvine smelling plant at costco the other day and we are pretty sure we want it for our back fence. We can't even enjoy what we do have for a back yard because the fence is old and has gaps so big we can see our latin neighbors yard. They have ppl living back there in a small trailer and they do their laundry in the yard so there are always ppl back there, giving no privacy at all. We also have to put more grass in because its more mud than yard at the moment any how.:-) I think we have resigned our self to living here for awhile, so we figure we should make it a home already. A happy home!

Spring break

I finished the term Monday. I feel so ready for a break. I have so many projects I want to start. I never feel like there is enough time in a day during the term.

I’m getting a sewing machine as soon as I find one I’m sure about. I have the crafty itch again, it’s been awhile. This year has got me way off my game. Not only do I have a toddler but also I’m taking A&P. Anatomy and Physiology is trying to take over my life. There are days when I spend all day in Brezie’s room sitting in the big chair while she plays so I can study and not worry what she is into.

My house is a mess. Everything needs to be done. We have 10 loads of laundry on our bed waiting to be folded. My duplex needs to be painted sooo badly and our area rug needs to be replaced. I have the decorating bug supper bad. Can’t wait till I get my sewing machine so I can start fixing this place up.
